Our range of Golden Leaves funeral plans extends from packaged plans all the way to bespoke plans that are tailored exclusively to you and your wishes. Our funeral directors' costs are guaranteed whichever plan you choose. You can also choose either to include a contribution to third party costs outside our control or to guarantee these.

If you choose a contribution, then if these third-party costs are more than the value of your contribution at the time of the funeral, there may be a balance to pay that will need to be met by your estate or next-of-kin. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PRE-PLANNING?

PRE-PAYMENT VERSUS INSURANCE PLAN POLICIES

With insurance, you pay a fixed monthly amount for a set period (usually until a specific age) and a fixed sum is paid out on death but the amount may not cover the total cost of your funeral. This sum also doesn't usually rise with inflation.

With a Golden Leaves funeral plan, you can choose how much of your funeral you want to protect, either by making a contribution to costs or by guaranteeing all the costs that you want to take care of.

WHEN YOU MAKE ARRANGEMENTSTO PRE-PAY FOR YOUR FUNERAL:

• Our funeral directors' costs are guaranteed at today's prices - no matter how much they rise in the future.
• You save your family from having to make difficult decisions and trying to decide what you would have wanted at an already distressing and upsetting time.
• You can choose from payment in full or payment in 12 interest-free instalments (subject to health status). Golden Leaves also offers a credit-financed option (subject to age and health status and affordability) so ask us for more information if required.
• Money paid towards your funeral plan (less Golden Leaves' £249 fee for administration) is held in the Golden Leaves Trust until the time of need.
