Elizabeth Snell Dip.FD MBIFD
Senior Funeral Director and business owner Elizabeth has been an independent Funeral Director since 1996 and has been behind the development and growth of the business over the past 22 years. Elizabeth firmly believes in treating your family as if they were a member of her own, attention to detail is essential, ensuring you are listened to and your wishes are carried out. She is a member of the Wessex Region of the British Institute of Funeral Directors, and has a great interest in the education of future Funeral Directors. Elizabeth is a wife, mother and grandmother of 5 and spends her time devoted to her family and running her business. In her spare time she loves to go fishing.
Keith Snell Dip.FD MBIFD
Having worked alongside Elizabeth for a number of years Keith's interest in the profession grew and with support and guidance from Elizabeth took the Diploma in Funeral Directing and in 2009 was granted a licence to practice as a funeral director. Keith shares Elizabeth's ethos and philosophy for the business and supports her in decision making. He is a member and Treasurer of the Wessex Region of The British Institute of Funeral Directors.
Marcus Read Dip. FD MBIFD Senior Funeral Director
Marcus started working for Elizabeth in 2009 as a pall bearer and driver. As the business expanded he supported the growth from behind a desk taking responsibility for business administration and advertising at the same time studying for the Diploma in Funeral Directing. In time and with encouragement from Elizabeth he also obtained his licence to practice as a funeral director. Marcus is married to Elizabeth and Keith's daughter Allyson, they have 3 children who keep them busy.
Charles Stone Funeral Operative
Has worked with Elizabeth Snell & Family since 2008 and drives the Hearse and Limousine and also works in our chapel of rest.
Prior to joining us he ran his own successful business. His hobbies include Archery, and he is also a qualified Scout instructor.
Charlie is also a Cub Scout leader for 1st Trowbridge Cub Scouts.
In his spare time he like to make Leather goods.
Charlie is happily married to Wendy and they have six children and 2 grandchildren.
Heshmon Brown Funeral Operative
Heshmon joined the team in June 2018 and is highly experienced in caring for your loved ones, he has in the past worked within the care sector, working for a number of years as a carer at Cedar Care Home in Bath, before moving on to work in Funeral service, a role he has been doing for some 3 1/2 years prior to joining Elizabeth Snell and he looks forward to training further with us as a Funeral Director.
Currently Hesh works alonside Charles in the chapel of rest looking after your loved ones and also drives our hearse and limousines.
Hesh is married and has two daughters. In his free time he is a football coach and runs a Saturday morning club. Sundays you will find him in church playing the drums in the band.
