Coffins and caskets

We are able to supply a wide range of coffins and caskets, suitable for burial or cremation. We believe that when celebrating the life of a loved one, you should have the choice available to celebrate a persons individuality. We offer the most simple to the truly bespoke of coffins and caskets.

Traditionally wood has been the material for coffin manufacture, and whilst it remains the most popular choice, alternative materials such as willow, bamboo, banana leaf, cardboard and other recycled materials are becoming more appealing.

The selection here is just a small sample of coffins and caskets available, please do not hesitate to ask should you wish to see other options. We are also able to arrange a printed personal coffin or casket.

Alternative Coffins and Caskets

Seagrass Casket

The Seagrass material in our Seagrass coffins is renowned for its quality and durability. Seagrass is grown in paddy fields and during the growing season the fields are flooded with sea water.

It is highly renewable and comes from environments where sustainable practices are employed. Once harvested Seagrass is dried and then spun into a strong yarn ready for weaving.

Our Seagrass coffins are available in either the Traditional shape (square ends) or Curved shape (rounded ends)

Cocosticks

Our Cocostick coffins are made from the stems of the coconut palm leaf, which are fast growing by-products of the coconut tree. The coconut palm leaves are dried out and the stems are removed, leaving tiny sticks. These sticks are then strung together to create the Cocosticks desirable colour combination.

Our Cocosticks coffins are available in either the Traditional shape (square ends) or Curved shape (rounded ends)

Willow coffins

Each of our wicker willow coffins has been beautifully and caringly hand woven by a skilled basket maker in the workshop in Somerset, making each coffin unique, special and a personal tribute to a loved one.
